The following section outlines some of the different ways MTEC work with clients and other partners.
Development outsourced, maintained in house
MTEC develop software that is eventually going to be maintained by the in-house software team. The client has as much say into the overall product design and architecture as they wish and liaises closely on matters such as coding conventions, technology transfer and training.
Development and maintenance outsourced
In other cases, there exists no in-house software team and so the maintenance and ongoing extension of the software are also MTEC's responsibility. Note that in such circumstances, there is never an assumption made that this will always be the case. In order to protect our clients, the code and overall project must be in a state so that it can be passed in-house or to any requested third party after all releases
