MTEC were established as an engineering design consultancy bringing very strong technical & business skills to the oil & gas market.
Original intention was for software to provide technical knowledge required to integrate control systems into pipeline isolation, repair and connection products. Additionally to develop and utilise synthesis and analysis programs for the manufacture and repair of these and third party products. However over time two separate business units have emerged which operate independently but also offer reciprocal support as and when required.
The engineering division continues to be involved in pipeline intervention, repair and pigging supervision activities. The software team continue to work within the Oil & Gas sector but also operate in areas as diverse as Construction, Economics, Finance and Local Government.
Both the engineering and software teams have experience working in both an onshore and an offshore multidisciplinary environment. MTEC have a very loyal customer base where the vast majority of customers continue to return to MTEC with additional projects.
