MTEC were invited to tender and were subsequently awarded the contract to build a bespoke business system for
Clyde Valley Drilling, a leading demolition and diamond drilling specialist. The software includes the following modules:
- Quote tracking
- Job Planning using electronic whiteboards
- Job reconciliation and billing
- Asset tracking
- Document Management
- MS Outlook & MS Sharepoint customisation and integration
- Financial reports and dashboards
CVD used the software to enter the 2006 Annual Scottish Enterprise Software E-Business awards where they came first in the category of the best use of E-technologies to improve a business.
Subsequently a new spin off company
Quarterback has been set up by Owen Barrett and Craig Robertson with the aim of marketing the product to sell on to additional businesses throughout the UK. MTEC were then commissioned to take the bespoke product and convert it into a modular, flexible and customisable off the shelf product.
